- When did you decide you wanted to be a lesbian? When did you decide you were straight? This seems to be a very controversial question. However, I have known I was a lesbian since I was a kid. My opinion is that you are born with it, so I didn't really have the choice. Also, with everything we have to go through being gay, who in their right mind would choose this lifestyle? It is not that simple.
- How did you get pregnant? It involved eggs, ovulation and sperm. Isn't that how most people get pregnant? We actually went two different routes. Insemination and in vitro fertilization. This answer will take more than one blog post.
- Where is the dad? Great question! We have no idea. We used an anonymous donor.
- Who plays the man of the house? Our 7 year-old son, plays the man of the house. We, however, take care of all of the important things together.
- Who carried the babies? That would be mom 1 of 2. And we chose this because of age.
- What do your kids call you? Our son called us by our first name for the first few years of his life. Our daughter calls us Momma and Mommy, depending on her mood.
- How do you explain your situation to your kids? Our "situation" is the same "situation" as every other family. Lots of love, 2 year old tantrums, and fruit snacks. We are open and honest about everything.
- Who fixes things around the house? Whoever broke it.
- How do you teach your kids sports? This has to be one of the most irritating questions I have gotten. Mostly, because I was a college basketball player.
- Do you think your kids will turn out gay? Do you think your kids will turn out gay?
